Does anyone here have experience with LongRanger fuel tanks on a 110 Defender? I'd like to know, how easy to install? Does it simply replace the old LR tank? How it affects ground clearance?

Not being a great mechanic,My Disco has failed an MoT for an oil leak on front shock absorber,Could anyone answer these questions before I commit to a garage doing the necessary repair work. 1). How much for the shock absorber (Original LR part or patent)?

Can any one suggest a type of front shock for my Range Rover classic which I can use without using the top bolt on mounts which sit on top of the coil spring mount, the shocks need to be outside the coil springs. Rich

A friend has been lent at V-reg 4.6lt P38a Range Rover. Both the air-con and steering wheel controls for radio, cruise control, etc. are inoperable (though the heater/blower works the sytem doesn't cool). Does anyone know whether this is coincidental or whether there is some sort

If the manual says use an oil to specACEA B2:96, API CE or better, can I use API SJ and ACEA A3/B3? Thanks TonyB

Anyone got a good design for ground anchors? I will need to winch some heavy plant (2 ton or so) on wheels across some soft grass, and although there are a few stratigically placed trees they don't cover all the places I need to go.

drove the 2 hours to Sydney today using the cruise, but on the return, it didn't activate - light on the dash switch but no action from the steering wheel buttons. Can anyone enlighten me on the possible cause / remedies?

All, I just read in Saturday's motoring supplement of the Daily Telegraph that there's yet another attempt at banning 4x4 access to unsurfaced roads. Is that serious? Anybody got more info?
