The manual says "tension with a lever-type torque wrench to 20Nm"
Is that right ? It sounds like bugger all.

Perhaps someone could help me out, with winter coming on I have
realised that my heater blower is U/S (110 CSW). I have traced the
cables out and I am a bit confused over the purpose of the resistor in

A J reg, 200 tdi 90, good price, checks out on insurance, reg number brings
up details, Checks out on the DVLA vehicle info, and the RAC one.
It has no history, just MOT and logbook.
Gonna try and get to have a look sometime this week....

I've replaced the front pads and need guidence ob how to properly bleee the
lines.I've had someone pump the brakes and hold them down why I crack the
line open to release the air and I've done this at the calipers and the
master cylinder also(which does not look like a typical autos ...

Can anyone offer me some advice please?
I have a 2000 Discovery TD5. It has done around 53K miles.
When accelerating air can be heard travelling through the heater matrix
behind the dashboard.

Anyone got one of these lying about? If so, could you take a quick
measurement for me?
I need to know the distance from the pulley edge to a reference point
(doesn't matter too much which one) on the mounting bracket.

Tomorrow will be the start of Morphs reasembly. When I reinstall the valley
gasket do I use any kind of sealant around the rubber seals at each end or
just use them naked? Just a thought.

I've been going over my landrover checking out all the oil
levels.  I'm a bit puzzled by the swivels.  In my Haynes
manual it shows a 'level plug' and a 'filler plug'.  However

I've Changed the front brake pads Now my pressure is low and the brake peddle
is mushy and goes to the floor and strugles to stop the vehicle.I can't
