Hi-Beam Wire07 Jan 2006 17:47 GMT2
Does anyone know which wire is the hi-beam wire on the stork on a TD5
90. I want to scotch-loc my spotlight relay behind the steering wheel so
I dont have to run the wires into the engine bay so I can keep the relay
in the battery compartment under the seat.
MOTClass Problems07 Jan 2006 17:30 GMT34
Has anyone come up with the definitive answer yet to the MOT problems
regarding the MOT class problems. I have a Defender that is coming up for
MOT soon and the Gross Weight is shown as 3050kg, it has side bench seats in
the rear, and no rear side windows.
Cooling system probs - 90 2.5TD07 Jan 2006 13:53 GMT12
I could do with some urgent assistance to diagnose the cooling fault which
has just developed on my 90 2.5TD, since the 406 is off at the menders again
for a week, so the LR is the only transport I have for the moment and it's
just let me down.

Detailed workshop manuals, better than the standard ones?07 Jan 2006 09:13 GMT19
Hello all, I have the Landrover Defender workshop and parts manuals as
both printed versions and PDFs, but find them to be rather lacking in
detail.  I have an old Lotus project car in the garage that has
workshop manuals that quite frankly put the Landrover one to shame in
Snorkel advice please06 Jan 2006 23:29 GMT4
Hi group,
I am planning on installing a snorkel/raised air intake on my 200tdi

main decision point seems to surround mushroom top or straight top.  I
300Tdi - Slow start in cold weather - New glow plugs needed?06 Jan 2006 21:45 GMT30
My (1997 ES) 300Tdi Disco has always been a good starter but has been a
bit slow in the recent cold weather.  The engine turns on the starter
but it can take up to a dozen turns before it starts.  The battery is
fine - I've checked it with a meter and don't hear any slowing down of

Glowing Praise for Beamends!06 Jan 2006 11:53 GMT6
Just like to post a public thank you for Richard, I burnt some bearings out
on a drivebelt pulley over the festive season, and although Richard didn't
have the part in stock he phoned around the local factors where I was in
Cumbria and found somebody who claimed to have the part in ...

110 Electrical Problems05 Jan 2006 20:24 GMT6
Having been delighted to get my 1983 110 V8 CSW through its MOT with flying
colours a couple of weeks ago, I was a bit surprised when the rear fog light
came on yesterday and refused to go off unless the headlights were also off.
I have isolated the switch, but to no avail - it ...
