at around 30mph, doesnt do it on acceleration & it still does it if i coast in neutral. It's not bad, but slightly noticable, feel like the effect of having slightly knobbly tyres on, but these are Michelin road tryes. Nige

Finally got the safari snorkel on, buy only dry fixed.. Going to play with silocone this afternoon! When all the silicone is dry, if ive done it right, if i put my hand over the top of the snorkel, the engine should stall.

Can anybody recommend a company in the Birmingham area that 'chemically cleans' engines, after dismantling mine, it looks like it's been cooked in Bovril. Also, what's involved in renewing the cylinder liners, is it an easy DIY

Can anyone recommend somewhere where I can get reasonably priced battery (coventry area)? Haven't been to Halfrauds to see what they've got...what about tyre places? Are they reasonable or extortionate?

I've acquired a set of four new wheels and new tyres at the best possible price (!)... The tyres are 205 wide. The wheels are 7J and look a bit wide for the tyre. Are they too big or will they fit OK?

I am making up a bracket to carry two spare tires on my trailer. My trailer runs on Old Landy tyres that came off the SerIII, however I am currently towing with a Disco Ser1 and might at some stage replace this with either a Disco Ser2 or 110 Td5. Do all these products use

I've managed to snap the drain plug (the one above the starter motor) on my 2.25 petrol. It appears to be cast iron. It's in a right mess and has to come out . Whats the best metod of doing this? Thanks,
