I have got a series 2a with no heater.
Does anyone Know if it easy to put a heater from a car in
or is it best to use an original landrover (remembering the word HEATer)

OK guys - can anyone clue me in on where I adjust the handbrake on a
TD5 Defender? Feeling round the drum backplate I was kinda expecting
to find a nice little square adjuster-head to tweak, but from this
morning's explorations I find.. nothing!

I purchased a 2002 FreeLander in March 05. I use it for my work and have put

Well........ it passed I relined rear shoes before taking it and cleaned up
bad indicator connection on the ramp. Now all i have to do is sort cam shaft
rattle out ( hence much ooming and arghing in previous post) and jobs a good
'n'.

Anyone changed the sender for the fuel guage (ie the electric bit that sits
on/in the fuel tank and send the reading to the fuel guage)?
My fuel guage itself is suddenly reading only part full / empty no matter
what the fuelk level and its very frustrating - not to mention risky ...

The vehicle has 38K miles and  general braking performance has never been a
problem except for a squeal when braking lightly at low speed.  
The dealer reported that the front disc brake pads had plenty of wear
remaining but the front rotors had worn too thin!  The service tech ...

Eventually managed to get the thing working today on heat setting.
Have repiped all the fuel lines, as the old ones were more leaky than
a sieve!
