| Detroit lockers | 13 Feb 2006 06:57 GMT | 30 |
About twice a year I use my old series 3 109 to tow a trailer across some pretty boggy ground. Each time I do this I cause the most mess when one of the tyres starts to spin. Never have actually got stuck but I have to do some pretty heavy duty reinstatement each time.

Been pulling yet more bits off Morph today (101 Ambi). Mainly the Diff lock pipes (ala early Range rover vac operated) and the valve to operate it. I've managed to replace the bits of pipe which were chaffed through along a length of about 10 cm's.

| RR CD changers | 11 Feb 2006 21:26 GMT | 4 |
Can anyone confirm whether the CD changer from a '93 LSE will happily coexist with the somewhat basic radiocassette in a '98 4.0? My changer isn't so good after a bucket of water went into it... still works, but is now fussy about which CDs it wants to play now; not too keen

My 110 V8 seems to be down on power on the flat but on hills it goes to a crawl and starts to shudder and backfire. When it gets to the top of the hill it "kangaroos" then if you ease off the accelerator the "kangarooing" stops and it goes back to feeling underpowered again.
