| Which Battery | 09 Mar 2006 12:35 GMT | 3 |
With the recent cold snap, my battery appears to struggle. Which battery is the best for my Range Rover 4.6 HSE, an Exide Maxxima of Optima Red Top? Any good / bad experience of either? Are they really worth the premium over 'standard' lead-acid types? Are they worth it

http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=4618866705 Apart from being illiterate, the seller is a very nice lady who knows nothing about Landies. For £1300 it will be a shed, but something deep inside tells me it's going to be OK for my uses. Off roading, pulling trees ...

| Here's an odd one! | 08 Mar 2006 20:01 GMT | 5 |
This is a serious post, by the way, however much it might seem like a wind-up. Besides my P38, I've still got my old 1992 3.9 auto RR Vogue. Great for going to the tip and taking dry dogs to the beach and wet ones home.
