Gonna give my Disco 2.5TDI XS (1996) it's first service tomorrow. There
seems to be dire warnings in the manaul about being careful to fill the new
oil filter so as not to bleed the oil pump and starve it.
I don't normally fill the oil filter with new oil (on my old 200TDI's) - is ...

Replacement
Replacing the Defender with a new model has been in the planning stages for
many years. The current design is over 20 years old in its current form and,
in many ways, only slightly updated from the Land Rovers of the 1950s. As

Technical advice and also some common sense needed please! I drove to the
Czech Republic in a V8 (petrol/lpg dual-fuel) Disco II. All well until I
arrived (late at night and -15 degrees) and turned off engine. On

As I said in an earlier thread, due to a leaking steering box my 110 is
not so much marking its territory, but leaving a trail so that it can
find its way home!
