110 County Air Con Vacuum Lines15 Apr 2006 11:07 GMT2
I was hoping someone will have a schematic drawing of the vacuum lines for a
1984 110 County air con/heater system.
In the rear of the heater control panel on mine is a "D" shaped connector -
much like a computer D-connector. there are 7 positions for vacuum lines on
2000 Range Rover County- Battery Issue15 Apr 2006 08:32 GMT15
I seem to have a strange issue with my RR.  My batteries only last 2
years at most.  After about a week of not driving it, there isn't enough
juice to start the RR and requires a jump.  After about 2 weeks of not
using it, the battery was so dead that a jump from a smaller car ...
Defender corrosion question15 Apr 2006 08:26 GMT12
I am in the process of acquiring a 1989 90 V8 CSW, the car is mechanically
excellent and looks great but I have noticed some pretty hefty corrosion on
the floor pan under the pedals (OK inside but visible from under the drivers
wheel arch). My question is, should I worry about ...

I have decided to join the the ever growing march deprive
Gordon Brown an income for the poor. Tuesday next week my little 110 v8

high miles P38?14 Apr 2006 19:13 GMT9
The book says 5/40 I'm using it but it seems very thin. Badger reckons the same too. Anyone get any ideas
about suitable oil for A 4.6 hse with 150k on the clock?
I'm trying to get the beastie in finest fettle for a LPG conversion later in the summer.

Thought for the day14 Apr 2006 18:54 GMT2
I've been out inspecting another Disco happily in much nicer condition than
the previous few. Whilst I was lying underneath with hammer in hand tapping
the usual suspect areas
it occured to me that the shampoo people are neglecting a market sector I've
Twin wheel carrier14 Apr 2006 16:13 GMT2
I may have asked this before some time ago, but does anyone know who makes
the two wheel carrier you see on the back of safari vehicles in Africa?  The
bonnet carrier is OK with standard wheels, but tends to obstruct your view
with Goodrich tyres.
Cigar lighters not working 1992 RRC14 Apr 2006 11:40 GMT1
I have 2 cigar lighters in my 1992 Vogue SE.  Neither of them work.
According to the manual and the Land Rover service manual, they are served
by fuse B4, but when I remove B4, the dash board stops working.  The fuse
itself is fine, but neither lighter wants to work.
Tree Huggers14 Apr 2006 09:10 GMT2
Why is the world suddenly full of middle class self righteous prats who
think they have the right to tell everyone else how to run their lives?
Also, can one of these idiots tell me why having a 4x4 gearbox destroys the
planet any more than a ministerial Jag?  Why isn't there a ...
Oh YES! Classic - one for Martyn ;-)14 Apr 2006 01:06 GMT13
Lunchtime. Take the Range Rover out to Tesco for fuel and a bit of a rough
wash to get the mud and salt off it.
Park up and enter Tesco to get some food.
Wander out....what's this? I spot someone putting something under the wiper
EAS Fault follow-up13 Apr 2006 23:45 GMT2
For those of you following my thread, re: EAS Fault, well I finally got the
vechicle back from the dealer.  They said after speaking with the 'engineers
at the factory', they suggest that it is likely the valve block that is the
problem.  They said that the valve block may be ...
Seemingly OT but Probably Some Takers13 Apr 2006 23:07 GMT7
After reading this excellent newsgroup for a year or so, I don't feel
too off-topic to invite some of you to return to the "Golden Age",
1955-1975, of British stock-car racing.  My website is
