| Fifth Gear - More Anti Bias | 06 May 2006 20:53 GMT | 23 |
Did anyone see the simulated crash to see if a 4x4 was safer than an MPV? They went to an awful lot of expense to set this up - except that they used and "old" 4x4 (Disco 1) against a new Espace with all the latest

| ROT: Drilling / Cutting Butane Tanks | 06 May 2006 20:36 GMT | 50 |
Possibly a quite silly thing to do - but as one approaches retirement one needs a little excitement... I'm planning to make a Brazier (for burning, not holdin' boobs) out of a blue Butane bottle. I've vented it for a few days, then sank it in

| NERC Bill | 06 May 2006 12:22 GMT | 17 |
Just read that NERC is now law, so overnight all RUPPs become off limits to greenlaners. Great, what a fine country we live in. Government lets dangerous, foreign criminals go yet us law abiding types can't go green laning on RUPPs. What a bunch of arse.

| Fitting wheel studs | 06 May 2006 11:34 GMT | 2 |
Not on the fleet but a trailer I'm renovating. Is it a case of tap in with a mallet? Or pack washers and draw it thorugh with the nut? Don't want to feck it up as the Hubs are prehistoric... to replace the hubs will require new suspension units x4... oh joy.

Anyone know anything about the Lucas EPIC system? specifically, should it have restricted power when the engine's cold... this morning, it wouldn't pull above about 3000 rpm. after a bit it went back to normal.
