How to improve MPG on old V801 May 2006 22:02 GMT21
I have a 1984 110 V8 which gives around 14 mpg at the moment,

spending too much money?  The carbs were recently replaced with good
second hand units, but these haven't been balanced - would that help?

I've spent this afternoon changing oil and filters ( and some other stuff )

Weekly checks01 May 2006 16:17 GMT6
Hello Gang.
Just curious about the twin carbs on my v8 3.5. I generally
do a weekly check over P.E.T.R.O.L. Seeing I now run on LPG, would
starting on petrol still keep my twin carbs in good nick or will I need

I'm busy fitting new head gaskets to my 3.9 V8, they are the composite ones
with ally circles on one side and a more complex pattern of circles and
tracks on the other side.
Which side goes against the block ?

Pre-fading red paint?01 May 2006 10:30 GMT6
Hello all, I'm trying to clean my landy up for sale, and want to
replace some bodywork and paint some of it.  I need to replace a wing
