Another problem has reared its head with my new (to me) TD5 90.  For
those that dont know its a 2000 model with 33,000 miles.
Since off-roading at Driffield this weekend I now have very crap
brakes and my pedal sinks with constant pressure.
Rear wash non-return valve28 May 2006 13:45 GMT3
Beofre I start ripping things apart, does anyone know where this is located?
The manual just says that it is between the hose to the rear wash/wipe and
the main hose going forward along the chassis.  I can't see whether it is
within the rear door frame or behind the trim in the ...

Has anyone on this NG heard of this group or has participated in one of
their convoys? Prior to me offering any assistance I'd like to hear from
any participants.

One of the head gaskets( LH froM drivers position) on my 1993 3.9l Range
Rover has gone, can anyone tell me how much work is to change it and is
there any thing in particular I should be aware of.
I have worked on other 3.5l V8's but have never worked on a Range Rover.
GPS Systems27 May 2006 10:21 GMT13
Forgive my ignorance but which (if any) GPS systems allow you to put in OS
co-ordinates as your destination? There loads of green lanes described in
LRO magazine and they always give the OS ref, it would be really easy to tap
into the GPS and let it guide you to the start/end of ...

2nd gear always dies first.26 May 2006 22:47 GMT8
G'day folks,
I built my SeriesIII ish 109 Stat Wag in 1994 and have got through 7 or
8 gearboxes in that time. (I've given up counting.)
What bugs me more is that they always go in the same way.

My 1995 P38 only blows hot air no matter what I set the temperature to be.

Sanity check please - Buying a P3826 May 2006 16:32 GMT3
I think that I am going to shake hands on the P38 I mentioned earlier
in the week.
I've only had a brief look so far, but the car seems  honest and the
seller is a neighbour of a close mate.
