Squeeky Brakes22 May 2006 10:10 GMT1
I own a 99 Disco 1 and I am having a problem with my brakes.  When I am
driving around 30 mph down the road there is a squeeking noise.  I

Today I took off the tires and looked at the rotors and brake pads and

Gonna get a full set of the air bags as mine are looking a bit tired, well very tired! I'm fitting new

the bags as being hard, or indeed the comp stuff. I have worked on that ...

Can I use tubeless tyres on the rims of an early Range Rover (1976)? I'm
asking because I don't like the idea using tubes on tubeless tyres. I
did have a lot of problems with that on my 110.

Rivnut tool?21 May 2006 18:18 GMT38
Anyone know anywhere I can buy or borrow a rivnut setting tool?
I've spent all day trying to fit the access ladder to the rear door and have
ruined 6 rivnuts (all I have) using the non-standard technique (loose
bolt/washer/flat metal strip and tighten until it crushes).  All 6 ...

Wolf Wheels on Disco 120 May 2006 21:06 GMT6
There's some debate here in Hampton Roads Virginia as to whether or not
there is a need to install spacers prior to putting Wolf XD steel wheels
on a Disco 1. The only benefit I can see is to increase the track. Any
other thoughts on the subject?

disco 2 foglights20 May 2006 14:13 GMT6
When I took the battered foglights out of the bumper valance, there were two

bottom corner of the light, the other to the top corner diagonally opposite.
The hoses disappear up into the engine bay, not ...

Strike another event20 May 2006 09:30 GMT4
Bloody kids. Missed AFL meetup, because no 1 son was ill, 101 unofficial

his big brother hasn't knocked his front tooth out for him an hour ago,
it has just spontaneously tilted backwards, the way they do...
