| disco brakes | 20 May 2006 08:32 GMT | 8 |
I'm sure I've already asked this one, but I forget the answer; however, I'm actually going to be doing this soon, so... 1) If I want to make our disco one into vented front discs, then do I just need the vented discs and the appropriate calipers? (the existing calipers

| 97 Landrover Discovery Oil Leaks | 20 May 2006 00:35 GMT | 8 |
I have a 97 model Discovery and have a strange oil leak that no-one can find. At idle there is no sign of oil leak. After a 5km drive there is oil everywhere under the car, looks like it is starting at the front of the engine and blowing to the back as the car drives. My mechanic ...

| P38 EAS weirdness | 20 May 2006 00:31 GMT | 2 |
I've posted this on a few other forums, getting a bit desperate... sorry if you've read it already. Front of my 4.0 '98 is continually dropping when running- enough that the valve block raises it up a few clicks every minute or so. The compressor is

| Problems with central locking system | 20 May 2006 00:26 GMT | 1 |
At my Range Rover 4.6 the central locking system closes and unlocks sometimes all doors a few times behind each other. That happens both during the driving as also at off engine (without ignition keys). What is the reason? Thank you!

| I've found a Warren! | 19 May 2006 18:06 GMT | 16 |
Just been to my local chappy who does my BIG welding to consult over the towbar on Morph. I was tinkering with adding more artilliery to it but having worked through some maths I'm happy the existing Towbar set up or more than adequate for towing... snatch recovery with both ...

| Welsh Cave Rescue Landrover stolen | 19 May 2006 08:24 GMT | 13 |
Apologies for slightly off-topic, however I've just been informed that the West Brecon Cave Rescue Landrover has just been stolen. A particularly cowardly act against a volunteer 999 organisation has potentially put lives in jeapordy in South Wales.

| breaking 88 RR 3.5 auto | 18 May 2006 23:02 GMT | 1 |
A friend has offered me this, I'm having the new 7.50 by 16s off it but I have no room for the rest, anyone interested? It's in Cranliegh surrey, apparently rot free and only not running because of a fuel pressure/supply problem with the injectors.

| Range Rover classic exhaust | 18 May 2006 21:08 GMT | 3 |
As Nige was so useful with the Range Rover grille, I suppose I may as well push my luck a bit, has anyone got an exhaust to fit my Rangie? (classic 3.5 auto EFi) everything except the back box and o/s downpipe seems to be pretty

| Backfiring / Misfiring problem on 4.6V8 P38 | 18 May 2006 14:59 GMT | 3 |
Hi all. My RR P38 has recently, and quite suddenly within the space of a week, developed a backfiring / mis fire problem. I think it's more a back fire than a misfire.....as you hear the noise of it back though to the large air scruber filter box. So firstly, am I correct

It never ceases to amaze me how low these cretins can get. http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/wales/mid/4985322.stm Shouldn't think they've any idea how long it takes to assemble £36,000 through donations and bequests and how many hours of voluntary effort have
