Range Rover engine removal30 Jun 2006 23:25 GMT11
Hmm, I seem to be a bit stuck.
Trying to remove the engine from my '98 4.6 Range Rover.  Everything is
now released except mountings and 3 bolts securing the bell housing to
the engine, the upper 2 and one on the right below the top one. Any

I have a 1996 Range Rover DSE, when I pressed the electric window button
once to use the self closing function, the window went all the way to the
top then made a series of loud bangs.  I have had the door panel off and it
has broken  a couple of teeth of the winder mechanism ...

has anyone got...30 Jun 2006 11:14 GMT3
an expansion tank that would fit a 94 3.9v8 disco lurking with intent in a
corner of the garage?
(I think rangie ones are the same, so if you've got one of them....)
Mine has split the seam, and I cant cannibilise the "other" disco now
Disco 2 gutter problem30 Jun 2006 09:43 GMT1
The sealant in the gutters appears cracked and crazed. It has broken through
in one tiny spot and is showing a hint of rust. It has only just started and
should be easy to take care of but, what do I do about the crazed sealant?
I am in Aus so I guess the hot summers had something ...
Injector Washer 2.5N/A30 Jun 2006 09:05 GMT4
Can someone please give some advice?
After doing a head hasket change, finding a cracked piston, replacing
pistons, bending a push rod, snapping a tappet slide, replacing
slide/rod and replacing the  head gasket (again) I have, at last found
WTD : 1964 SIIa 10930 Jun 2006 05:30 GMT18
I would like to acquire a 1964 LWB SIIa.
The vehicle HAS to be VERIFIABLY BUILT (not registered) in 1964
(serial)
I would prefer a softtop, but I'll consider a pick up or SW.
routing29 Jun 2006 22:56 GMT39
Greetings One and All
Prey tell, what is the prescribed method for routing electricky to the
outside - well I guess the route to front bumper is fairly straight
forward, but what do folks do to get the juice to the roof?

51 Freelander Air Con prob29 Jun 2006 21:23 GMT5
With the current hot weather I tried the air con for the first time, the
light switch illuminates but that's it.
I have tried various settings for the airflow and dial settings. The engine
doesn't alter and the temp doesn't go cold.)I've checked with a digital
Whrirr whirrr 101 Front Diffs29 Jun 2006 21:19 GMT21
:-(
I'm now certain The Diff is sounding terminal.
There is a definate whirr up to 30 35 mph that wasn't there before. It
disappears after that but I suspect it because all the other noises join it
Que Victor - "I don't believe it.."29 Jun 2006 15:24 GMT7
Parking up in Morrison's the other day, I spotted a "new" vehicle.
As I'm sure I've made pretty clear I *hate* what's been done to
Discovery III's, but surely it couldn't get any worse?
Well, Jeep have done it. They've copied the Discovery III styling,
Freelander 229 Jun 2006 15:15 GMT4
So what do you guys think of the new Freelander from the preview pictures
and the mechanical spec that has been in the press today?
Can't believe the cheapest will be £22,000. that's taking it up market more
than a bit, but then there isn't a 3 door any more.
