| Range Rover engine removal | 30 Jun 2006 23:25 GMT | 11 |
Hmm, I seem to be a bit stuck. Trying to remove the engine from my '98 4.6 Range Rover. Everything is now released except mountings and 3 bolts securing the bell housing to the engine, the upper 2 and one on the right below the top one. Any

I have a 1996 Range Rover DSE, when I pressed the electric window button once to use the self closing function, the window went all the way to the top then made a series of loud bangs. I have had the door panel off and it has broken a couple of teeth of the winder mechanism ...

| Disco 2 gutter problem | 30 Jun 2006 09:43 GMT | 1 |
The sealant in the gutters appears cracked and crazed. It has broken through in one tiny spot and is showing a hint of rust. It has only just started and should be easy to take care of but, what do I do about the crazed sealant? I am in Aus so I guess the hot summers had something ...

| WTD : 1964 SIIa 109 | 30 Jun 2006 05:30 GMT | 18 |
I would like to acquire a 1964 LWB SIIa. The vehicle HAS to be VERIFIABLY BUILT (not registered) in 1964 (serial) I would prefer a softtop, but I'll consider a pick up or SW.

| routing | 29 Jun 2006 22:56 GMT | 39 |
Greetings One and All Prey tell, what is the prescribed method for routing electricky to the outside - well I guess the route to front bumper is fairly straight forward, but what do folks do to get the juice to the roof?

With the current hot weather I tried the air con for the first time, the light switch illuminates but that's it. I have tried various settings for the airflow and dial settings. The engine doesn't alter and the temp doesn't go cold.)I've checked with a digital

| Whrirr whirrr 101 Front Diffs | 29 Jun 2006 21:19 GMT | 21 |
:-( I'm now certain The Diff is sounding terminal. There is a definate whirr up to 30 35 mph that wasn't there before. It disappears after that but I suspect it because all the other noises join it

| Que Victor - "I don't believe it.." | 29 Jun 2006 15:24 GMT | 7 |
Parking up in Morrison's the other day, I spotted a "new" vehicle. As I'm sure I've made pretty clear I *hate* what's been done to Discovery III's, but surely it couldn't get any worse? Well, Jeep have done it. They've copied the Discovery III styling,

| Freelander 2 | 29 Jun 2006 15:15 GMT | 4 |
So what do you guys think of the new Freelander from the preview pictures and the mechanical spec that has been in the press today? Can't believe the cheapest will be £22,000. that's taking it up market more than a bit, but then there isn't a 3 door any more.
