Cleaning chequer plate.31 Jul 2006 23:15 GMT4
Has anyone got any ideas on brush on, wash off solutions to cleaning chequer
plate in situ?  I don't really want the hassle of drilling out the pop
rivets to drop it in a bath.
                                                           Cheers, John
Tyre feathering31 Jul 2006 21:04 GMT10
Just got a brand new MOT on my chariot, a 2000 Discovery TD5.  The tester

tyres.  The tyres are the original fitment 235/70 items with plenty of meat
left (the vehicle has only done 39k) and there's no play ...

Tale of breakdown recovery30 Jul 2006 22:58 GMT6
We have just got back from a 2 week trip to South France and Spain. We left
the UK in a '96 Discovery 300 to escape a local game of golf that seemed to
be attracting some interest. I think it must have been the cam belt that
failed when we were  just south of Paris travelling at ...
97 Range Rover 4.0 air conditioning 30 Jul 2006 21:29 GMT1
I had the, apparently common, experience where there was hot air during the
hot part of the day, and then normally cold air during the cool parts of the
day.
But it started as an air supply problem.  Cold air would barely blow.  Now
Rag top v truck cab?30 Jul 2006 20:17 GMT16
Wotcher chaps, I've got the opportunity to buy a truck cab for about
£200 notes or so, I reckon that'll help the old beast sell if I either
fit it or at least sell it with the landy.  It's apparently in good
condition and complete, I'll have a look at it first though.
