| Air con | 08 Jul 2006 11:44 GMT | 15 |
Clearly the aircon on the Tdi 300 Disco has a thermostat - I can hear it clicking in and out when it's on the coldest setting. Trouble is, coldest setting isn't cold enough, is there an over-ride somewhere I can adjust? TonyB

| Oscar the Great :-) | 07 Jul 2006 23:50 GMT | 11 |
Well MOT out of the way, Aircon sorted finally thought I'd better vent my frustration via some elbow grease. Gave Oscar a once over today, took a few years off him :-) <http://www.zen79997.zen.co.uk/oscar2006/imagepages/image2.html>

| What's with all the air con posts? | 07 Jul 2006 08:03 GMT | 9 |
Geez, I dunno, a couple of days above +15C and all the air con units get a workout or not as the case maybe. Buy a Series LR and open the under windscreen vents!! (posted from a balmy 27C mid winter's day in Queensland)

| CHECK THIS: Disco1 / Rangie Classic Aircon | 07 Jul 2006 07:32 GMT | 16 |
If you have a Disco 1 (mine is the 300 shape V8 ES) then check your aircon pipes, specifically the one that runs under the Battery from the cooler beside the radiator. This pipe has by design another pipe from something which I forget which chaffs against it.

| RR Classic EAS sensors | 06 Jul 2006 22:10 GMT | 1 |
One of the front EAS sensors on my RR is not working, can I canibalise a rear sensor and use the bits to fix the front one? Rear sensors seem more available than fronts. Of course, if anyone has a front EAS sensor going spare, I'm sure we could

| P38 - Slight misfire | 06 Jul 2006 18:21 GMT | 4 |
I think I have an occasional light misfire. Sometimes idle is not rock steady and occasionally I think I can detect a slight stutter when cruising. I will treat her to a new set of Leads (Magnecor Blue) and plugs

| Wiper Park | 06 Jul 2006 18:07 GMT | 4 |
The wipers on the 300 Tdi Disco won't park properly and intermittant wipe sweeps the blades halfway then they stop for a while before completeing the wipe. Had a look for anything obvious with no luck, does anyone have any ideas at all?

| Rear Shocks recommendations | 06 Jul 2006 14:35 GMT | 10 |
For the Disco 1 Tows quite a bit, as in distance by not frequency. Don't want my fillings knocking out and don't want to pay for a lable. Do I stick to the OME or should I be looking at something a little more?

| First start for a brand new engine | 05 Jul 2006 08:51 GMT | 15 |
Just about to start my rebuilt 4.6 Range Rover engine for the first time. I've put a brand new short motor in. Any tips on how I should go about starting it and running it in? I'd like to spin it over first without it starting to get oil circulated, the engine is dry and the

| Who designed the Range Rover Classic? | 05 Jul 2006 01:27 GMT | 15 |
....They need to be shot. Having spent the best part of a week on and off swapping the heater matrix (thank you Richard @ Beamends for the advice - it was a dodgy one, supplier ordered another one, all OK), I thought I'd try and resolve the issue I have
