| Portals again: LRE this month | 19 Jul 2006 20:43 GMT | 7 |
For those contemplating fitting portal axles to a landy, LRE magazine has a 90 on the cover with portals, I've only seen it on their website, not seen the mag so don't know how much detail they're going into. Looks like 303 wheels from here.

I want a replacement oil temperature gauge and sender for the 101. I notice that the original sender is on the top of the oil cooler. Is this hole of a standard size+thread that will come along with a new gauge?

| Disco 2 Rear Recovery Point | 18 Jul 2006 20:17 GMT | 3 |
I have just removed the drop plate and arms from the towbar on my Disco TD5 (to improve departure angle) and am now wondering if the 'T' shaped piece remaining (bolted to the chassis) is strong enough on it's own to use as a recovery point. If so what should I fit? The two holes ...

| Ignition Light - On! | 18 Jul 2006 11:21 GMT | 6 |
The ignition light on my 200tdi 110 stays on whenever the engine is running. The landy runs ok and the battery appears to be ok, no loss of charge. I have noticed that voltage drops (via dashboard guage) when I have lights etc on, but only slightly.

I'm looking for a good solid tow vehicle with room in the back, probably a 110 van, and am trying to find dealers within a reasonable distance of Filey in North Yorkshire. So far I've found P.A. Blanchard & Co in Shiptonthorpe but they've only got vehicles that are a bit over my ...
