i never knew it would give me so mutch troubble, engine's almost wasted, so i did a rebuild. crammed it in the 88lw, the turbo exaust was just above the steering box arm....

After spending most of a blisteringly hot afternoon under the 90 replacing the middle exhaust section, the most frustrating part was replacing the rubber hangers. So I know for next time, are there any wise tips from the group for getting the rubbers over those barbed hooks

Just serviced my newly aquired 1973 Carawagon, put a battery on her and turned the key.... As soon as the ignition lights come on there is a loud clicking noise coming from the fuel pump... this clicking is in fact so fast that it almost sounds

Has anybody ever put a Tdi engine into a Range Rover Classic - 3.5l Carb, 4 door 5 speed? I know they came out with them but not here in South Africa. How difficult for the home DIYer? Maybe a 300Tdi to match my Defender.

Can any body tell me why my series 2A Fairey Over Drive is so noisy, I am assuming the noise is coming from the Over Drive but not completely sure, I admit that I am not a mechanic and this has beaten me so far.

The cable connector has become detatched from the heated rear window on my 110. Is there some sort of glue that will conduct electricity thaI can use to refix the connector? Gerald

The lumbar support has died in my 1997 Discovery on the drivers seat - the knob just turns without anything happening to the support. Has anyone ever had the seats on a Discovery apart? How do you get inside to get at the lumbar support unit? Do the seat covers just slide off? Or

98 110 CSW, the immobiliser has given me problems in the past resulting in getting an upgrade from LR for the spider that failed after 11 months ( in rural France !!! ) this was then replaced under warranty again. Being the cynical type I would like to remove the bl***y thing ...
