My coil sprung trials machine has lunched it's rear diff. How do I identify it to get a new one? It's 12 spline and has 46 teeth on the crownwheel and 13 on the pinion, which makes it a 3.53? I've got various vehicles laying around so if I knew which vehicle it came from

Due to a burglary, I now have no keys for my 1980 Series III. I need to replace the keys at least, if not the ignition and driver's door locks. Plus it has a hard top with the original tailgate and lift-up door which has it's own lock.

I have a 1998 1.8 Freelander ES and have two problems that have just occurred. The rear tailgate wiper now comes on every time I put the front wipers on irrespective of whether I am in reverse. In does work independently still

Poor sod, wonder if the insurance co. paid up? Come to think of it I wonder if it belonged to the silly tw*t who recently tried to sue LR (and lost) claiming that the Freelander's 4x4 system "didn't work properly" !!!!!!!!!!

Shortly to change the water pump on the 2.5 petrol and wondered if it's possible, without too much hassle, to upgrade to a viscous fan. Noticed the bits are available from Paddocks but wonder if it causes the fan to be too far forward etc.

Defender rear drums. Anyone care to offer the thread size of the bolt hole designed to aid removal of the drums? I make it bigger than M8 Smaller than M10. Looks like a coarse thread though, 3/8" UNC? Who knows?

Is HDC necessary on any of the LR's with low Range. I am sure that some D2's have it and I think the D3 may also have it. Unless they have changed it, HDC operated at 8km/h and I know that low 1st would not let you anywhere near that sort of speed. So what's the
