Bloody great oil leak on the 110 sorted, thought it was gonna be big money - turned out to be a split

When I approach 50-58mph and happen to go over a bump, the entire truck
including the steering wheel will vibrate until over 60mph. Happens at
standard height or highway height as well as when suspension height is
locked.
FMV in the FAQ?06 Sep 2006 08:25 GMT16
As a relative newcomer to the group I often feel I'm missing something
out of my enjoyment of the posts when people refer to their vehicles
with long standing nicknames.  I have no idea what Morph is, or bURRt
for example, but frequently hear them mentioned.  I don't know if

Just got back from my club meet, and met one guy who bought a box of

on the chassis cos it was a replacement...  He has now found a chassis
number on the chassis, but has no V5 or reg plate and is uncertain as

LT77 woes05 Sep 2006 12:48 GMT18
My new purchase is suffering the usual worn output shaft as I knew when I bought it & it was discounted
to suit etc.
I can get a recon box for around £375 mark, Realistically, how many hours to change the box over & how
easy is it to sort the input flange on the TX box?
Defender front seats in the back?05 Sep 2006 09:47 GMT7
I'm thinking of being kind to my passengers and doing something about
the cr@p 2nd row seats in my 200tdi 110 CSW and was wondering how easy
it is to fit two front seats into the 2nd row and just have two seats
on the 2nd row, given that three burley men on the 2nd row just looks

I must have been a bastard in a previous life....

Part Number04 Sep 2006 11:26 GMT2
Evening
I need to get hold of some new sill rubbers for the 90, the ones that
fit to the sill, and press on the bottom of the door when its shut.
I have found RNH452, but have no clue if this is correct.

I'm trying to replace a faulty speedo on my 1972 SIII 109 and the parts book
for 73 refers to a 579188, I've come across one with the markings
SNT-4212/04AS 1408 which the seller was told is correct for the vehicle, can
anyone cross reference these please or is there somewhere I can ...

detergent went over in mid wash and I lost half of it these days I use a
smaller bottle so when the inevitable happens not so much spills . Has
anyone found some innovative way of  hanging a bottle on the ...
New Defender?03 Sep 2006 22:50 GMT29
What's the rumor (or rumour, for most of you folks ;) these days?
Here in the States we were lead to believe that there was an all new
vehicle based on the LR3 (Disco 3 to y'all) coming out in the next year
