| could a bad battery test out ok? | 03 Sep 2006 15:11 GMT | 4 |
I thought I had my electrical problem figured out. I needed a new ignition cylinder because my old one was broken and wouldn't turn off all the way causing the battery to drain if my D1 wasn't used for a few days. It got worse to the point where it would lose just enough charge ...

| Defender Truck Cab wanted, Lancs. | 02 Sep 2006 22:22 GMT | 2 |
Like the subject says!! I need a truck cab top and rear panel for a 90. Not too bothered about the condition as it is for a trialer, as long as it is straightish enough to fit.

| Tracing driver | 02 Sep 2006 16:12 GMT | 13 |
If I wanted to trace the driver (and address) from a reg, can that be done? The car is likely to be reg'd to a lease company so I need to go past just finding the owner. All ideas welcome (well, legal ones)

| God Bless The Landrover. | 02 Sep 2006 13:43 GMT | 17 |
I have just recently found that it is possible to roll a 110 Td5 Defender, end over end and then sideways and back on to the wheels, on a normal dry dual carriage way and walk away with a 5mm cut and no bruises. The only glass remaining was the sun roof (protected by the roof ...

| 110 300TDi Automatic??? | 02 Sep 2006 11:39 GMT | 10 |
Seen a nice 300Tdi 110 for sale locally with air-con and an auto-box, I didn't think you could get an auto on a 90 or 110 (except the 50th anniv V8's) so is this likely to be a special or an aftermarket conversion? I do prefer automatic so am thinking it may be a nice motor but ...

| Broken burst proof lock | 01 Sep 2006 18:08 GMT | 2 |
Driver's side (left) door lock is broken on my 1984 110. Open/close functions fine (inside and outside handles), the door can be locked/unlocked from the inside, but the key barrel just spins in the sleeve. When I took it off the door, the relevant stub of metal fell
