I have just had a major failure of my engine (4.6) due to the porous block issue. There were no indications whatsoever until the pinking started very swiftly followed by my gliding to a halt on the hard shoulder. Isn't it bizarre that these engines don't have a water level

I'm due to pick up a bulkhead for my Defender and want to collect it in my 300tdi Disco. I've messured the exisiting bulkhead (approx 3ft x 5ft) and the space in the Disco with the rear seats folded and it'll be tight I think...

Does anyone know where you can obtain a full or partial harness for a Series III 109, following close inspection the rear of mine has been cooked and will have to be replaced, are they available or do I have to start from scratch?.

Booked my D2 into Simmonites for some work including a 2" lift, they are recommending that I ditch the rear air springs and replace with coils. The reasoning being better off-road articulation and increased longevity and reliability. I do trust their advice as they know their ...

I think I have killed my battery. In order to check I fully charged it over a period of 24 hours then left it disconnected for 48 hours. Having just reconnected it on the Landy, it has not enough power to engage and turn the starter.
