What is it about mirrors? some time ago, I ordered 7x5" convex mirrors from the nice Mr. Beamends man, and got flat ones instead. At the time, it wasn't worth faffing around changing them, so I've had them on the motor.

Evnin! Thinking of ditching the middle seat for a cubby box - Does anyone have any good suggestions of tried and tested types? Would only house keys,mobile,ipod etc so does not need to be bullet proof!

Been looking at fitting a propriotry compressor to pump tyres etc to a V8 110 but been horrified by the price of these units. Is there any reason why I could not use an air con compressor say off a range rover to do this? Gerald

A question for you techy ones. My wife has 2 digital hearing aids and whilst driving today I had to use kickdown to overtake a very slow car on a narrow road. Really hit it hard. We were both very surprised when both her hearing aids gave 3 loud beeps.

I bought a lt230 box off someone, its done about 100k miles in a 110 V8. I also got as part of the deal a new input gear (unfitted), but having read the workshop manual, it seems replacing it is not so easy as you have to measure the preload etc and change the shims etc to get

After changing the oil in a 52 plate Land Rover Freelander 1 day later it now has no reverse gear (It moves but only just) but all forward gears are functioning correctly can you shed any light. Regards
