88-sized waterproof covers?06 Oct 2006 21:11 GMT5
Anyone know a supplier for a waterproof car cover to fit a SWB?
Slightly weird request I know, cos they're meant to get wet and dirty,
but I don't think standing on a rain-soaked drive day after day does
much good!

Rusty Bolts06 Oct 2006 15:17 GMT7
In about 10 days I will be replacing the rear cross member on my 110
CSW.
It is one with extensions, so I have a number of rusty bolts (and nuts)
to take out (including a towbar).

Hello, All!
Out with the missus in her Disco II on Saturday and all of a sudden Three
Chimes and the ABS, HDC and TCU lights all lit up.
Tried clearing the buffer by disconnecting the battery, but to no avail.

Compressors: dos & don'ts?05 Oct 2006 22:32 GMT6
I'm enjoying life (sad, I know!) with my first compressor (belt-driven,
twin-pot, 100ltr). Are there any general dos and don'ts to look out for
in owning, using and maintaining a compressor? For example, is it okay
to leave it pressurised with air or should the tank be emptied?
Isuzu diesel05 Oct 2006 22:31 GMT20
Am now considering fitting a 2.8 direct injection Isuzu to my 110. I know
that these were probably the best engines Isuzu ever made but are they a
good conversion for an early 110?
Fitting 3/4 tilt05 Oct 2006 20:37 GMT10

TDi Rear Door05 Oct 2006 19:45 GMT5
The problem is it seems to be jammed.  I tried the
interior handle as well and a little nudge from a pry-
bar but it just won't move - anybody have any ideas??
Thanks
Attn Badger05 Oct 2006 16:19 GMT3
Re 4.6 block cracking, what would the cost be to top-hat liner a block?
Also I have read that Rover V8s should be run at around 80deg.C.  That
seems impossible to achieve on a P38a seeing as the thermostat is a
96deg one & is sealed.  Would it be possible to make an ally thermostat

95 Range Rover, beeping on shift to low05 Oct 2006 09:13 GMT15
We've just bought a '95 Range Rover.  On trying to shift into low range, the
car gives a constant beeping.
If I try to select a gear a "SELECT NEUTRAL" message comes up and it
certainly doesn't feel as though it's changed into low.
Push Button Door Handle 110 Middle Row05 Oct 2006 08:30 GMT3
I have to get hold of a button for my middle row driver's side door
(1989 110 CSW).
As all that's missing is the button itself (bl**dy vandals!) can anyone
tell me anywhere I can get hold of one quickly? Even better, has anyone
