3.5 v8 in a 110 developed a knock yesterday, suspect its serious. Is it big ends or little ends that tend to go on these? Whats the way to go? Rebuild or look for a complete engine, if the latter should I stick with carbs or look for a 3.9 efi engine. I want to stay with

| oil level V8 | 29 Oct 2006 19:31 GMT | 6 |
Just had my 2000 RR 4.0 serviced and the oil level is around an inch above the full mark. There is a "do not overfill" mark on the dipstick. Someone doing the oil change put too much in. Should I be concerned about this?

| Looking for reccomendations | 28 Oct 2006 19:54 GMT | 4 |

| V8 LPG Questions | 27 Oct 2006 14:10 GMT | 2 |
Have a Defender 110 with a V8 that has twin SU carbs with a Landi Renzo LPG conversion that was on it when I bought it. The LPG is fed in to a device between the carb and the manifold. This presents a restriction to the air flow and whilst I can see that it might be necessary to ...
