On a 1992 land rover defender fitted with 200tdi engine - the manual says to

necessary to remove this fan or can the radiator exchange be done without?
Any tips most gratefully received as I have to tackle this ...
V8 3.5 injection, differences.17 Oct 2006 10:18 GMT2
OK...
V8 3.5i ex rangie, which was almost certainly a "flapper" system.
If I get hold of the hotwire system, how much hassle to fit it to this
engine?  Or am I better off sticking to a flapper?

TD5 emissions15 Oct 2006 20:37 GMT3
My 1999 TD5 defender has just failed its MOT on emissions. I had put an

Rear Crossmember done!15 Oct 2006 19:49 GMT1
It took three days elapsed time, and about a day and 3/4 effort between

Not a too bad job.  A few niggles:

My TD5 Defender is persuading me to swap out my basic fold up side steps to
a pair of Tombraider style steps (no real reason - just vanity I suspect).

chequer plate varieties out there but who does the most ...
