Anyone got one for sale?  Are they really light on power consumption? Could
I boost battery performance with a solar panel and if so what specification?
Rear Crossmember on a 11014 Oct 2006 16:28 GMT2
Right,
Rear crossmember off, cut just before the chassis crossmember by the
rear springs.
What do people do with the cable?  Cut it and re-connect because there
P38 C117 plug14 Oct 2006 16:18 GMT1
I'm looking for a plug C117 for a 1996 P38a.
It's the plug that connects into the Air Suspension CPU under the passenger seat.
I don't need a new one as I'm just botching up a test jig.
I tried the obvious places and got nothing and my local scrap men haven't got one.
101 Front diffs14 Oct 2006 12:08 GMT10
Just about ready to jig the diff to rotate it, to save a lot of
measurement (more)  work does anyone know how the kingpins are oriented
on a 101 ? Are they parallel to the front of the diff and each other
(easy to jig) or is the camber and castor set there ?
Disco belt squeal revisited13 Oct 2006 22:00 GMT6
Done to death I know so apologies, but... reading back thorugh the
various 'cures' for this problem some of those afflicted suggest WD40
on the belts for temporary relief -- is this actually squirted directly
onto the belts and/or pulleys? Doesn't that make 'em slip even more

MAPS FOR LAND ROVER LR313 Oct 2006 17:11 GMT1
Hi all....
I have a LR3.  The Navigation System comes loaded with maps for USA and
Canada, I need maps for Mexico.  I know that NAVTEQ is the supplier of
such maps, but they do NOT have maps for Mexico.
110 TD CSW Fuel Return Pipe in top of tank13 Oct 2006 15:53 GMT2
Hi Landyfolk
I have bought a new fuel tank and my friendly mechanic is in the middle
of fitting it for me and has found that the return pipe, which goes
into the top of the tank, is knackered and needs replacing.
Putting grease in Series steering box?13 Oct 2006 13:07 GMT12
My steering box can't hold its oil. Can i put the one-shot swivel
grease in it?.
I can't see why this would be bad (I mean its must be better than
having no oil in like it does currently!)
Old Sodbury reminder13 Oct 2006 11:58 GMT2
I think it's coming up in a few weeks, but can't quite recall.  Just
in case I'm right, best check!

Series III lightweight. Gauges, lights and others...13 Oct 2006 11:20 GMT4
new owner of a series III lightweight, I have lots of questions
regarding the different gauges and lights of the "dash panel"
- In between the gauges, in the upper part of the dash panel, there is
a round red push button. What is it used for?

Range Rover Classic - no Spark12 Oct 2006 23:12 GMT10
I have a 1989 Range Rover. I am getting no spark from the coil. I have
gone through all the tests in the service manual and the book tells me
it is either the coil or the plug wires, both of which have been
replaced. I have tested the ignition load relay on its own and it
OT, my Series one for sale on Ebay12 Oct 2006 20:57 GMT2
After starting my new job I have realised that I am never going to get
round to using my Series one.
That and the fact that I can't actually fit in it, but keeping it just
to look at is a bit pointless!
