Hi, I was just wondering if there was an easy way to change the front discs
on a 1990 defender 90 , I only ask this because on reading the haynes manual
it says i need to set endfloat adjustment and need a dial gauge to do this
which i havn't got,my question is ,  is there a way ...

While I thank Richard for the reply that I may have to purchase the whole

Only lost the keys to my defender!

After over a year not moving more than 5 yards up and down the drive,
the 101 went in for a MoT today.  Warren had it all day and put it in
for the test this afternoon.
Passed first time.  Total cost, including the test fee - £38.50

I own a 1996 P38 and the engine has started to sound a bit noisy it's like a
squeaking sound almost like a dry bearing or one that's about to give up. I

Anyone got a decent 200-series 4-door front door?
Father's managed to naff up one of mother's, by rolling it back into a wall
with the door open.  I've straightened the door enough for it to work but
it'll never look right.

I am having problems with an intermittent fuel pump. When I turn on the
ignition I cannot hear the fuel pump and it won't start. It has been
converted to LPG and will start on LPG but it revs constantly at about
2500 - 3000rpm.

Tacho was bouncing about all over the place then got new
alternator and it behaved itself.
Now its doing it again.

My husband is having problems with his ABS, the car is due an MOT and
as a short term fix he unplugged fuse.
The problem was when he was braking there was a thumping noise.  Does
anyone know what this could be?  It did stop once the fuse was taken

I'm considering converting  to LPG, and I have seen several posts where
people did it themselves.  I'm pretty competent with engines, although
this is the first V8 I have had.  Questions:
(1) Approximate cost for parts.  It's a 3.5 carb, bog standard for
