2 years ago I thought I'd bought a 200TDi Defender. The fan belt snapped the other day so I bought a replacement. Reading the Haynes manual the fan belt arrangement would appear to be off the 19J engine. Certainly picture 18.10 on page 1.13 looks exactly like mine and

My brother in Law has recently aquired a P Reg RR P38 with electronic gearbox. The motor is shot, and he has a mazda 2.9 motor to put in it (currently in a RR classic).

Most modern diesels have a heater pre heater, which is an ally housing with 3 glow plugs in it. I'm thinking of fitting one to my 90 non turbo D the only problem I can think of is the current draw (possibly up to 60A).

I read in the manual to use only premium gas on m LandRovery Discovery II SE. I met someone who has owned four Land Rovers, his latest one being the LR3. He told me he uses unleaded 87 and has had no problems. Anyone else doing this?
