Breaking 4 door Rangy03 Dec 2006 10:28 GMT6
Evening all I am in the processes of breaking up an old "B" reg 4 door
classic Range Rover, all body parts available for beer tokens don't want
much for bits, offer what you think, just seems a shame to scrap the bits if
someone is in need of something. Grinds against me to just ...

Disco2 TD5 rubber front mats02 Dec 2006 14:55 GMT1
Anyone know a source of good quality aftermarket rubber front floor
mats (or genuine one at a sensible price) for the Disco2 TD5? I
replaced mine with genuine Landrover ones not so long ago but the
rubber is so soft they've worn though again and iirc they cost a bomb.

Ok this morning I started TD4 drove about 1 mile & filled the tank from
about a needles width above the red zone. Drove back home and parked the car
in the drive. 15 mins later went to start the car .......it turned over but
wouldn't fire. Tried a few times with 10 min breaks and ...
TDI Diff Lock Light01 Dec 2006 22:26 GMT5
This morning my diff lock warning light comes on every time I apply
the footbrake on my Y reg TD5 - the book says dealer sometimes has to
lock the diff during services and this is to warn he hasn't unlocked
it - but last service was a long time back and it's only just started
Lifted Disco 1 clearance question01 Dec 2006 19:28 GMT7
Now this is really odd, after fitting a 2" lift kit and some 235/85/16 MT's
The drivers side front wheel/tyre has plenty of clearance on lock but the
passenger side fouls the plastic sill trim??? The car also pulls to the left
a bit, seems as though something is really out of ...
Rising Bollards Again. Might be scrapped?01 Dec 2006 18:24 GMT31
Following on from the thread about rising bollards a few weeks ago,
which mentioned the video of a car with a child on board crashing into
one, here's an article from the Auto Express website, dated 21

rust01 Dec 2006 11:26 GMT13
Recently bought a 110 csw and have heard that the door hinges can rust.
I live very close to the beach and would like to prevent this from
happening - what can I spray on there to keep them from rusting?
What else rusts on the car?
