| 110 Cappings | 13 Dec 2006 17:17 GMT | 6 |
The Cappings on the rear body of my 110 Stationwagon (1991) have got a severe attack of tinworm. Various internet browses on the usual sites and phone calls to local suppliers have clouded the issue somewhat.

| Fuel issues with TD5 | 13 Dec 2006 12:04 GMT | 12 |
I have a TD5 with 115,000km on the clock. It started running roughly, losing power and blowing black smoke. If I drain the water sensor on the bottom of the fuel filter it seems to come good for a while... so I put it down to a bad batch of diesel - possibly with water in it

| v8 valve stem seals | 13 Dec 2006 09:08 GMT | 4 |
Its a 3.5 on twin su's from a 89 Defender. Which valve stem seals do I fit? The ones that look like a flat washer seem a bit of a tight fit on the valve stem.

| Mangled nuts ( decker panel ) | 12 Dec 2006 21:39 GMT | 2 |
In preparation for footwell replacement I have removed the N/S wing on my 89 RRC. Unfortunately, the decker panel bolts were seized solid. I had to flex the wing outwards and grind off the bottom of the captive nut thingies.

Ok, so I managed to get my newly purchased S2a through its MOT with only minor work, and I thought I was ready for a bit of gentle off roading. On its first trip out it performed very well and I thought all was

| Pre purchase advice 101 | 12 Dec 2006 12:13 GMT | 29 |
Seen a nice LHD GS 101 LPG converted 21000kms for £2800. Is there anything specific to watch out for? The tilt is a bit ropey and two of the tyres will need replacing VERY soon. There is a winch with the vehicle but it isn't attached. I was told it worked but no guarantees.

| aluminium corrosion | 11 Dec 2006 22:01 GMT | 3 |
Just discovered some bubbles that looks like corrosion / rust at the bottom of left skywindow - just below the rubber seal. Has anyone else experienced this - is this a common place to corrode? Should I wait or fix now before it gets worse?

| Air suspension | 11 Dec 2006 20:43 GMT | 1 |
Any Idea's why my TD5 has started to dump all the air intermitantly from the rear suspension when stopped for a long period, say over night. This leaves the rear looking abnormal !!!! Although I've heard air being dumped after parking up, it never seemed to drop as low as it

| LPG tank on 110 CSW - where? | 11 Dec 2006 19:46 GMT | 22 |
I've decided to have LPG installed on the 110, rather than swap her for a diesel. I'd prefer to keep the full sized petrol tank if possible, so where would I have the LPG fitted? I want as big a tank as possible, but have no idea where to suggest siting it (assuming the fitters ...
