| 101 accelerator cable | 09 Dec 2006 13:52 GMT | 15 |
Mines just snapped, or come loose at the carb end. It was pitch black so I couldn't see sh.t. What am I likely to be faced with. Is there any pre-load required as there was a lot of free play in the pedal etc? How easy are they to get hold of?

| Insulating an ex-MoD 90 | 09 Dec 2006 11:19 GMT | 1 |
Yup, it's my ex-RAF 90 again. Today's problem is condensation, and lots of it. So I'm thinking of putting in a headliner and whatever other bits I can find to keep a bit of warmth in and a bit of moisture out. Any ideas? And where can they be found?

| Diesel Injectors | 08 Dec 2006 11:35 GMT | 8 |
Brought a brand new set of injectors on E-blag for £90, as the ole disco was running rough. What a transformation - its running sweet as a nut, ticking over smoothly. Acceleartes and powers past its previous best of about 65mph. Best £90 ever spent on it so far. Now off to get ...

| V8i vacuum advance | 08 Dec 2006 10:14 GMT | 7 |
3.5i hotwire. The vacuum advance pipe to the dizzy has a gadget in it which, on my one, serves merely to prevent the vacuum from getting to the distributor. I've turned it round so that the "dis" side is attached to the "carb" end of the pipe, which now lets the vaccum through...

| Kato gets brain washed | 07 Dec 2006 23:39 GMT | 5 |
Despite the improvement to Kato's 200TDi lump after replacing a dodgy injector he was still smoking like Lily Savage until warm. So today I pulled off the head and replaced the valve guide seals, I should have taken photos ! the reason for him dropping a valve stem cap on number ...

| Strange power steering leak | 07 Dec 2006 20:11 GMT | 7 |
There we were, waiting to go on an outing into the Domboshawa Hills just North of Harare. I look at another vehicle (SWB Landcruiser) and ask what the fluid under the car is. That was just aircon water. The my wife says what's that coming out of our car (300Tdi Discovery).

| Series stainless exhaust | 07 Dec 2006 11:04 GMT | 2 |
The exhaust on Stig is rotten (a good chunk of it just fell off on Warren's ramp this afternoon). Anyone got a full stainless system and if so where from, how much and any good? I won't be buying one from Rimmers, due to previous shite service so an

| Plasma gammatron diffuser jammed. | 07 Dec 2006 00:38 GMT | 2 |
Could this be caused by parking the IIa where the 101 used to park? I'm wondering if the depleated uranium that lined the floor would cause such issues? ok I'm bored!
