Hi all - hope someone can help me... Just overhauled both sides of the rear axle on my 1988 90' (new hub seals) and the brakes (new cylinders,drums & and shoes). Problem is that when I fit the new drums - purchased from Paddocks -

A quick question: Would an inlet manifold off an SD1 be a straight swap for a P38 (GEMS) one & would the P38 plenum bolt onto the SD1 manifold or would the original have to be retained? Cheers,

Further to my recent posts about 750-16 tyres, I'm thinking about getting some of these (http://www.colwaytyres.co.uk/4x4.htm) in particular Chaco or Atacama (about 50 notes each). The 750-16 will fit my 5.5 rims and also have a N speed rating, same as the avon

My vipers are starting to stop on the window at low speeds (intermittent) and jitter at low speeds, is the motor going or something. they work fine at higher speeds. Thanks

Right, assuming we have more snow here than we do now (18 flakes at the last count). what tyres are best for snow out of the ones I have? On my 90 for normal road use I use BFG Radial All Terrain T/A and off road use I use Grizzly Claw Mud Tyres.

Can anyone tell me what is the most equivalent modern size to the standard 750-16 I have on my 110. I need to replace them soon and want some MTs and need to know what size will fit without any clearance issues etc. It is on standard 110 steel wheels.

I was told today of someone buying an "aluminum chassis frame" for a Land Rover ---- has such a thing ever been done and marketed? I assume the latest Defenders are still steel --- I'm wondering what this misinterpretation (if it is) comes from?
