When converting to LPG does anyone have a preference for manufacturer or type of HT Leads to be fitted or will a new set of LR ones do? Have read about a few cases of "tracking" etc...with old leads and wish to try and eliminate this.

I need to replace the studs on the manifolds (where the down pipes connect) due to the threads being completely shagged, do they come out easily? any tricks I should know, bearing in mind the almost zero space around them to work ('86 110 3.5 V8). Can you buy a "stud extractor" do

I have a Kenlowe fan on my 4.6 P38 & the instructions say that the fan should cut in when the temp gauge is between 1/2 and 3/4. I have noticed that when doing a steady 70ish on the motorway the temp gauge does start to climb up and the fan cuts in and drops the temp back down

I've seen lots of good info about putting Perkins Primas in a Series Landy. Does anyone know how well they work at angles? Landrover engines are designed to work at weird angles, but I guess the perkins engine isn't. If I put one in, is it likely to die on serious hill climbs or

MoT time is coming round again (March) so I'm doing the stuff well in advance head off new stem seals last week replaced keggely hose dodgy bulb, iffy brake pipes scheduled next week etc etc all going well then this morning the fizzin back silencer fell off!!! on the way top ...

I have a disco 300TDi, with approx 65Kon the clock, i beleive there is a modification to the timing belt case. How does one know if this mod has been done. Is there a new part No. on the timing case to cross check against. Is there any modification to the timing belt tensioners ...

Does a 1986 2.5 NA Sherpa diesel engine fit a 84 petrol Landy?? I bought one on Ebay 2day but was only told it was a sherpa engine after I won it, can anyone confirm it fits before I pay for it??? Cheers.
