For anyone who's not seen it, there's currently a very interesting
thread on the rangerovers.net forum about interfacing with the EAS ECU.

L322 HT Leads25 Jan 2007 10:35 GMT10
When converting to LPG does anyone have a preference for manufacturer or
type of HT Leads to be fitted or will a new set of LR ones do? Have read
about a few cases of "tracking" etc...with old leads and wish to try and
eliminate this.

I need to replace the studs on the manifolds (where the down pipes
connect) due to the threads being completely shagged, do they come out
easily? any tricks I should know, bearing in mind the almost zero space
around them to work ('86 110 3.5 V8). Can you buy a "stud extractor" do

The Show at Kelmarsh is cancelled. It would appear that the majority of
trade stands who have booked for a July show have chosen to go to Billing
P38 Cooling & Kenlowe24 Jan 2007 11:29 GMT13
I have a Kenlowe fan on my 4.6 P38 & the instructions say that the fan
should cut in when the temp gauge is between 1/2 and 3/4.  I have
noticed that when doing a steady 70ish on the motorway the temp gauge
does start to climb up and the fan cuts in and drops the temp back down
Engine transplants23 Jan 2007 19:57 GMT3
I've seen lots of good info about putting Perkins Primas in a Series
Landy. Does anyone know how well they work at angles? Landrover engines
are designed to work at weird angles, but I guess the perkins engine
isn't. If I put one in, is it likely to die on serious hill climbs or

9 months or so ago my mate's missus saw me scraping paint off my 101

Dumb bastard22 Jan 2007 23:57 GMT36
FFS! my garden, but Morph valiantly tried in vain to shift the 23 ton
truck that has f.cked my garden good & proper. He was laying a concrete
base for my new bike emporium at the side of my house. I did ask him to
stay off the grass, but, what do I matter? Only my house.
Replacing the cam, tappets, pushrods and timing chain22 Jan 2007 22:00 GMT13
I'm thinking about doing this on my wife's '95 disco series 1 (3.9 gas
engine).
Anybody have an estimate on what the parts will cost?  I guess I'm
looking at a new front cover gasket, new camshaft, new set of tappets,

300 TDi Timing belt22 Jan 2007 17:10 GMT2
I have a disco 300TDi, with approx 65Kon the clock, i beleive there is a
modification to the timing belt case. How does one know if this mod has been
done. Is there a new part No. on the timing case to cross check against. Is
there any modification to the timing belt tensioners ...

A couple of days ago I noticed after a trip to some mountains (on road)
that when I start it from cold, and for about the first 15 minutes of
