Fuel leaks, catch tank and associated plumbing in 1990 RR Classic22 Jan 2007 08:28 GMT4
In search of the source of a strong smell of petrol that can be smelt at
the rear of the vehicle after completing a journey, i.e. only when the
engine has been running, I find a small tube is attached at one end only
to the end of the breather tube NTC2787 that is attached just ...

Nice places to go20 Jan 2007 21:05 GMT4
Ok, so I have a car capable of going into all sorts of wonderful
places, and it does not like being driven on the road. So I need to
find interesting places to go and see and have an opportunity to drive
off road a bit.
Best Engine Oil for Worn Series Engine20 Jan 2007 14:22 GMT7
My Series 3 petrol (71) burns a lot of oil. It is worst when the engine is
hot and your have to idle for a while - traffic lights for example. If you
put your foot down pulling away there is an awful lot of white smoke while
it gets going. Having topped it up yesterday with a cheap ...

RRC Inner Front Wings20 Jan 2007 00:57 GMT2
Big day tomorrow. Probably going to patch them with a sheet of 1mm
galvo I got at the local DIY for 17 squid 50. The sheet is 100cm x 50cm
so i reckon I can split it lengthways and get two complete wheel arches.
The tricky bit looks around the battery box.
Slightly OT - Machete legality19 Jan 2007 19:46 GMT84
Hi all.  While wandering through the market recently I noticed that the
diy stall is selling machetes for a fiver.  I'm not sure how long it was
but it must have been at least 8 inches blade.  Seeing the usefulness to
clear green lanes I went to buy it, but the SWMBO said it ...

screwing people for the supply and denying them the ...
Heads-Up LED stop/tail lamps19 Jan 2007 07:43 GMT1
Might be useful for experimentation purposes.
My local Netto is selling 12 LED cluster, standard bayonet fitting
stop/tail lamps for £1.99 each.  According to the latest leaflet they
also have amber LED indicator lamps, but I couldn't find those.  Will
Freelander td4 2006 radio removal18 Jan 2007 23:34 GMT2
I bought a new Freelander TD4 sept 2006, I now want to fit a parrot 3200
handsfree kit.
How do I remove the radio, the tell tale screws or "removal tool" holes can't
be seen. I have hunted the net, but anything I found seems to be for older
