Rightly oh.. tomorrow mornings entertainment is removal of the power
steering pump on the 110 (19j engine - a gut feeling it's the same pump as
early 200tdi's)  and trip to Beamends.
HBOL says I need to remove the pulley. Does this just bolt to a flat "doofer

Help - I have had long term problems with the engine on my 1989, 2.5 petrol
110 Landrover it has done 60K miles and has an intermittant problem where it
looses power coughs and splutters. If you stop and wait 10 min all is well.
Some times it will go for weeks without a problem. ...

my 1980 series 3 diesel has an overdrive unit that engages properly
(sometimes takes a few goes) and runs fine. When disengaged, I use the
main 4 gears but the overdrive lever keeps skipping out into neutral.
It happens at whatever revs I give it and I couldn't climb a hill

As matter of interest how many miles should you get before having to
change the discs?

Fed up getting ripped off trying to sell your Landy .  I did, I tried
Ebay
(waste of time and money), Land Rover magazines (far too expensive) and
Autotrader.

Suddenly both my rear wiper and heated rear screen started to work
intermittently leaving me to think new motor (Old Sodbury?!) for the motor
and new relay for the screen and then I realised that I was getting an
insufficient charge because the fan belt was clapped.

I spent about 2 hours crafting a really nice listing for a camcorder I am
selling.  I uploaded it last night and (unusually) it didn't appear in the
search pages after a couple of hours.  This morning I have 2 nasty emails
from eBay saying the item has been cancelled, because a) ...

Bastad fuel sender has packed up.

Power steering pump on the 110 (1990 TD) is on it's way out, groaning under
normal turning conditions making noises you'd expect to hear on full lock
kind of thing. It's also developed a leak. I see some seals are available
and guess the bearings would need replacement. New pumps ...

I want to paint the fold up crosses on the 101 with blackboard paint
so that we can write messages on there with chalk (or does anyone have
any better ideas?).
When i resprayed it i did both sides with cellulose. Will I be okay
