Ello I was out messing about in the 90 in the local floods tonight and i have been confused by water and electrics. It wasnt that deep, only a couple of foot at max, and water obviously got everywhere.

Any suggestions on how I might take the dashboard apart to replace the lights on the instrument cluster on a Disco 1. Is there an easy way or must the whole dashboard come apart to replace them Thanks

I consider myself to be a competent operator of an Arc welder. However even at low settings it cannot handle panel metalwork (eg footwell ) on my RRC so I think I should take the plunge and get a MIG but I have never used one so far.

my 300tdi disco cut out and won't start for about 15 10 to 20 min ,engine will turn over but will not start. this happens once or twice a month, have changed the shut off solenoid but has made no difference.

My '97 Discovery stopped running yesterday. Engine just died. Would restart and run for 5 or 10 seconds then die again. Starter would not immediately turn over if you tried key immediately after engine stopped. You have to wait a few seconds. Local garage says the computer ...

Twat at work aint interested, they just want everyone out of an evening. No real explanation, it 'insurance' related. So, I need to downsize & quick. I'm a lot cheesed off about it. A 101 is just not a vehicle you can keep anywhere. Anyone interested

I saw some specs for the new freelander today and noticed that it is really heavy! These new landrovers make a 101 seem small and light! stock 101 ambi kerb weight - 1925kg (I put it on a weighbridge!) LR2 kerb weight - 1770kg

Couple of weeks ago I mounted a revised 101 engine in my '81 Rangie. First I had some problems determining the proper oil level in this engine, has been solved now. Done 3000 mls now. Oil consumption 1000 mls/ ltr.

Anyone know the measured length of the inside cargo area of the LR2 with the back seats folded down? They give cubic volume measurements but that doesn't tell me the length or width of the inside area.
