The ebay purchased S3 mentioned in "towing a Series III" a while back
on here arrived safely  at it's new home behind my 110 TD without a
problem - other than my TomTom dying on route. I've now had a good
look over it and am very pleased it - every panel is straight and dint

I ahve a 1976 SWB series 3 does anyone know how many splines are on the
front shafts? The vehicle is completely standard.

I am in the process of converting my P38 to LPG and have a question
regarding the tank solenoid.  I have seen / read about some systems
where the solenoid is simply energised when the ignition is switched
on.  Would it not be better / safer to supply it from the fuel pump

Hello all, had my disco 2 nicked for a 2nd time.
1 st time approx 1 yrs ago, got it back within 3 days no damage.
Today it has floated off again,

alternator light is burning so i don't have a charge.
a 12v splitcharge system is fitted, with 2 70ah batteries
alternator is a 55a one from an alfaromeo

Kato is my 1990 200 TDi Disco 3 door.  I  could really do with a 5 door  and
an LPG'd  RRC or 110 would be peachy, MOT  is due 6/4 so I've plenty of time
to tidy up his bits but sell or keep I'm in two minds that bit of smoke when
