Yes, our second child is due in May and I'm going to be selling the 90
and the Discovery. I aim to use the cash to get a late 300 110 CSW. It
was either that or a TD5 ES Disco but I want to be able to add a few

On my 1998 Disco 1V8 3.9 there are two small black, what I think are
resistors, fitted to the wires which go to the positive of the ignition
coil. I do not think they are diodes as their resistance is the same in both
directions (+- 7ohms if I remember correctly.). Is this the ...

Thinking of leting our '97 ES V8 (LPG)  go and getting a Disco TD5 manual,
what sort of MPG are peeps getting on the manual Solo and towing.

i am fitting ( autoglass ) a heated windscreen into my discoII can any body
help me located a supplier of the correct connectors to connect the
windscreen as i dont want to cut the connector off the windscreen if i can
help it

I've got a Lucas component (which I think is a resistor) that dates back to
the seventies.
Marked on it is: 4BR and 47224A.
Does anyone recognise this part from series Landrovers perhaps, or maybe

This Friday I have decided to renew my clutch on my 2000 TD5 Defender, 100K
miles, because the release bearing had started to make the wellknown
'wear'-noises and the clutch itself was a bit 'weard', especially when
engine was cold - the vehicle nearly makes small jumps forward, ...

my battery went dead and  I disconnected it and charged it. I
reset the radio code windows etc. but now my ac or atc wont work and I
get the book symbol.  what can I do?  It worked before the battery
disconnect. I need a clue.  Thank you

I don't use the Disco (3.9V8) much and wasn't the least bit suprised
when it was a bit reluctent to turn over when starting during the cold
weather last week.  Last night got in, put key in, turned and got the
click click click of the solinoid.  Out with the trusty Maplins

The air con on my 96 Disco tdi cuts out after a few seconds - the pump
cuts in when I press the a/c button but then disconnects again - any
ideas please?
