My td 4 now requires a 3rd clutch master cylinder in as many years.
I now strongly think that the slave cylinder may be the root cause of these
component failures.
Also i have been told that the gearbox would have to be removed for this

Pissing down here this morning & the front sunroof is leaking like a
bastard.Whats the common cause, I'm wondering if, as the moter is
jammed, it might be slightly open? Doesn't make any noise on the go etc?
Any ideas?

The ABS light on the dash is lighting constantly in my 98 Disco
(300TDI).  I dropped it into my mechanic and he says that it is the
CPU that is gone as it keeps showing different faults.
Might I get a similar fault if the fuses or relays or sensors were

Bought a J reg discovery 7 seater. got it part exchange so I only paid 200
quid for it. Thats the good part. The bad part is there is sommat wrong with
it.
1) loud clunking noise coming form the gearbox area when changing gear.

Have installed a new fuel tank on SIII SWB this weekend. The one I removed
wasn't exactly attached in quite as secure a manner as you might have hoped
and was missing several (nearly all) securing bolts. From my Haynes manual,
the three securing bolts to the rear of the tank appear ...

I have a 110 V8. The radiator and some hoses have been changed. Since
this change the engine looses water I think through the expansion
tank. The heater sometimes works. If I drive at 80k/h all day no
problem but stuck in trafic theres a loss of water!. could it be an

I have done a few trips in the 101 today and i have noticed that the
exhaust is always very wet and steamy - even when it has just been for
a run so is definately warmed up.
The truck has always had a fair water habit - I had to put a gallon in
