| Driver seat in a Disco 1 | 07 Apr 2007 10:07 GMT | 3 |
The seat support under the foam on the drivers seat has just torn in 2 on my Disco. It consists of webbing and rubber on both sides which acts like a spring and allows movement. My question is can it be fixed or will I need to get a new part. If so

Got three points today for talking on mobile. My fault, emergency call out with my headset flat. Just goes to show though. I never miss an unmarked car, ever. Missed this one. Total lack of concentration from talking on phone.

| Seatbelts | 05 Apr 2007 09:11 GMT | 6 |
I am considering installing lapstraps in the back of my 110 ( to stop the kids hitting me on the back of the head if I brake hard). The kits available, provide an 80mm steel square plate to act as a load-spreader behind the aluminium of the wheel arch.

| My hairy little magnet !! | 04 Apr 2007 22:52 GMT | 2 |
Just changed gearbox oil at 94k; first time I think its been done. Looked for the dreaded metal bits and found the usual pattern of magnetic powder standing up from the magnet on the drain plug. Question is, should I expect this after this mileage or none at all ?
