| seats, floors, bodies in a 110 | 31 May 2007 20:47 GMT | 5 |
2 problems I can see in fitting 9 forward-facing seats in the 110. The main one is the shape and nature of the rear floor. What stops one removing the wheelboxes and substituting a flat floor with wheel arches like a van?

Anyone got a set of trans. oil cooler pipes knocking about? I was a tad ham fisted removing them from mine and knackered them. The two metal pipes that go to the cooler behind the grille are the ones I need.

| Series III won't Idle | 31 May 2007 07:53 GMT | 6 |
Have just obtained a very beaten up series III that has been on a farm for 20 years or so. Petrol 4 cylinder circa 1972. Was running on 3 cylinders and after redoing head was back to 4 cylinders (valve seats really poor but OK'ish now).

My local motor factors, and supplier of paint for my various Land Rovers over the years has now closed down, leaving me being forced to go to Halfords to try and get some aerosol paint for my RRC. They appreciated that there were many shades of Plymouth blue but could not

Have spent the last half hour pissing off my neighbours. How do I get the battery out of my 300TDi 1998 Discovery, so that I can replace it with a new one? Every time I disconnect it the alarm goes off.

| Discovery II Faults (1999 V8 SE) | 30 May 2007 16:36 GMT | 5 |
Rather than ask for fixes I thought I'd place a list of the faults I've had and the fixes we eventually found. I'd be interested to see if anyone else has had the same issues (especialy the AFM one) When it's going, it's a great machine, but you really need to be a

| ACE Question and Parts Warranty | 30 May 2007 09:49 GMT | 2 |
This may possibly be the most stupid question, but are parts covered under any type of warranty when the dealer replaces them? My 2001 Disco had the ACE pump replaced in Feb of 2006 under warranty. There is now a "clicking" that sounds like it's coming from the new ACE pump and ...

Evening The unofficial ended up being a total of just over 400 miles for me, of which the 300tdi managed 30.5 mpg, at an average motorway speed of 60ish. Does this sound about right?

| RR Sport TDV8 or V8 petrol LPG | 30 May 2007 08:38 GMT | 6 |
Can anyone help me with my choice between a TDV8 or a V8 petrol? Environment is important to me so a V8 on LPG is probably the best choice. But has anyone experience with a RR Sport on LPG?

| Engine tapping gone after trans flush?! | 30 May 2007 02:15 GMT | 3 |
I took my wife's '95 Disco 1 V8 to the dealer to have a full transmission service done at a cost of about $370 (190 quid?) during which they flushed the fluid, replaced the pan gasket, and some various other O-rings and stuff.

| Series III not starting | 29 May 2007 23:30 GMT | 48 |
I took on a rehab project on a 1973 series III land rover. I stripped off the front end, wings and repaired and painted the chassis. I would say I'm about 95% complete when I started to reconnect the electrical. The good news is that I didn't mess with the electrical too much ...

| Top Girl! | 29 May 2007 22:26 GMT | 1 |
If anyone knows Richard "Jumbo" James of Wood Park Off-Road, Pembrokeshire, he's a proud Dad at the moment. His daughter Tori has just become the first Welsh woman and the youngest British female to stand on top of Everest. http://www.everest2007.net/blog/
