Fuel tank advice06 May 2007 15:01 GMT19
The tank on my 110 has had a hard bashing in an earlier life, so much so
that it only holds 65 l instead of 80.  ONe downside of this is that the
float doesn't move, so I can't tell the level of the fuel (a new sender
unit didn't help, and the old one works fine outside the tank) ...

I am in the market for another LR for greenlaning and playdays, prefer a
Disco TDi but would consider  a Series or 90 if it is solid, anything with
plenty of MOT and in good nick (not a RRC fan though). Budget is £1500 which
aint a lot I know but if anyone is looking to move ...

freelander04 May 2007 12:53 GMT23
I have a fiat punto and would like a larger vehicle. I would love a
freelander and have saw one with only 11000 miles and going for a price of £4
500.
Do you think freelanders are good cars to get?
gearbox or clutch problem?04 May 2007 10:59 GMT7
On Saturday morning I was driving my 2003 TD5 110 and noticed I
struggled to change gears. Later on the gears started scratching and
eventually I couldn't change gears at all. Manage to turn around and
drive home slowly.
P38a - Internal Dipping Mirror Problem03 May 2007 22:05 GMT3
The car is a 1995 P38a 4.6 HSE Range Rover which has installed, a 'Glare
Control' internal dipping mirror.  Today, a liquid bubble has appeared what
can only be described as trapped between two layers of glass.  Has a leak
happened within the unit to cause this 'bubble'?  I guess ...
