Having spent a couple of weekends driving the 110 across Wales and towing heavy boats around, plus a lot of climbing ladders, lifting masts and so on, I've spent this weekend at various medical establishments having found walking impossible with the pain in the left knee.

I rercently washed my Disco2 and when attempting to enter vehicle afterwards, the lock mechanism simply wouldn't engage at all,( as though I am turning key in butter). I'm sure the washing was not related at all.

My rad has sprung a leak so i thought it might be a good time to upgrade it to an electric fan. Anyone know what is a good replacment that i can get from a scrapyard and would it run okay on my landie which still has a dynamo.

My '96 Disco is at 360.000km running out of its engine, oil leaking out of the headgasket, and crackshaft rings. Pressure in the cylinders is going down. A nasty additif solved some of the leakage but I am looking for options.
