| Purchase advice wanted...30yr old landie | 10 May 2007 00:17 GMT | 16 |
I've seen a landie locally described only as "a SWB 30+ year old landie"! All else I know is that is has a petrol engine. In running order, and for France I think it is a bargain at 800 euros - but I'd like to know a bit about what the engine might be before I go and see

I have a US Spec 2005 LR3 SEV8 and I am looking for advice on fitting offroad wheels and tires to the vehicle. I'm only seeing 15 inch and 16 inch wheel sizes in LR magazines and I was wondering if anyone knows of any 18 inch options? Would prefer to keep the OEM suspension

| SRS light on Disco- dealer only reset? | 09 May 2007 15:15 GMT | 7 |
Is it true that on a 96 Disco the SRS light is a dealer only reset, even if you actually fix the problem? Just wondering if I should bother even trying to sort it myself, or book it into a dealer next time I'm in the UK to have the codes read / reset.

| How much does a TD & Tdi engine weigh ? | 08 May 2007 23:58 GMT | 2 |
I've finally committed myself to putting a 200 into my TD 110 - plenty of very robust looking hoists on ebay for around £100 but they do look a bit ott - I'd rather have a nice new slender one that i can fold away into a shoe box when i'm done with it - but i can't find how much

Never used it - Rarely fill up the disco due to being LPG but keep pondering when I fill the Laguna. Is it worth the extra 5p a litre or is it just tosh? Lee D

| Disco 300Tdi - clutch replacement | 08 May 2007 12:31 GMT | 3 |
I'm getting a groaning noise when I put my foot on the clutch, and I suspect the release bearing is going. As the vehicle has done 208000 kms, not bad for the original clutch. The Haynes manual says take the engine out to replace the clutch. A

| Trying to bleed the fuel system on our SII with a 2.5 Diesel | 08 May 2007 10:01 GMT | 5 |
I'm having a problem bleeding the fuel system on our Landie. I've replaced all the pipework on the fuel system & can bleed all the air our & the engine will start fine and run for a couple of minutes. After that it starts to tickover erratically & eventually cuts out. It won't ...
