protecting 110 door frame bottoms27 Jun 2007 15:09 GMT10
My 1986 110 has the normal rot on the door frame, at the moment its

It seems the rain water just fills up the frame when running down the

Anyone know how much of the dash has to come out to change the wheelboxes,
please? I've got the motor out, but can I remove the top of the dash on its
own to get the wheelboxes out or has the whole lot got to come out - if so,

wiring direct to the battery.....help26 Jun 2007 10:30 GMT4
My ciggy lighter stopped working in my Disco a while back. I have finally
had a look and there is no power getting to the fuse box, so I have presumed
there is a broken wire between the battery and the fuse box? Anyway as I
only want to use the lighter to plug in a tyre ...
Any breaker recommendations?26 Jun 2007 09:27 GMT22
Morning all,
Changed the shocks on the 110 yesterday which went well apart from a
slight mishap with an axle stand which means I'll need a new radiator
grille frame. They're the wrong side of £100 new, so I'm trying to

Managed to pick up the RRC that I got on eBay for £350 today.
Now bearing in mind I only wanted it for the gearbox (auto with the BW
transfer box with viscous coupling) for burrt, the fact it had a 3.9
efi was by the by.
Series 3 starter motor25 Jun 2007 12:38 GMT10
Just a quick question.
In trying to hunt down a reasonably priced starter motor for my Triumph
Stag there was a reference to a M418G starter motor being used in a
Series 3 LR.

Any ideas?
Freelander 1: Fuel Consumption24 Jun 2007 08:41 GMT7
I have owned my Freelander HSE 2.0 TD4 Auto, for 3 or 4 months.  Whilst I am
really very pleased with it, I have found it to consume quite a lot in the
way of fuel.
A full tank only gives me about 350-390miles at best.  Whilst I am no expert

My 1979 series 3 has no fog lamp and looks like it never has had one fitted.
Does anyone know if this is legal or is it a requirement for the MOT to have
fog lamps fitted?
Cheers
