My 1986 110 has the normal rot on the door frame, at the moment its only the 1 door and not too bad (spent most of its life in a garage), so after I fix it, whats the best way of preventing further rot. It seems the rain water just fills up the frame when running down the

Anyone know how much of the dash has to come out to change the wheelboxes, please? I've got the motor out, but can I remove the top of the dash on its own to get the wheelboxes out or has the whole lot got to come out - if so, anyone know roughly in what order do I dismantle ...

My ciggy lighter stopped working in my Disco a while back. I have finally had a look and there is no power getting to the fuse box, so I have presumed there is a broken wire between the battery and the fuse box? Anyway as I only want to use the lighter to plug in a tyre ...

Managed to pick up the RRC that I got on eBay for £350 today. Now bearing in mind I only wanted it for the gearbox (auto with the BW transfer box with viscous coupling) for burrt, the fact it had a 3.9 efi was by the by.

Just a quick question. In trying to hunt down a reasonably priced starter motor for my Triumph Stag there was a reference to a M418G starter motor being used in a Series 3 LR.

Well, seems to have oil pressure, approx 25lb at tickover going to 65lb.with revs. Dont know if that is right or not. Friend did it with test guage.

Now & again the auto box temp light comes on, mainly going up big long steep hills. It goes out after a little while on the flat. I had the fluid changed not long ago. Any ideas?

I have owned my Freelander HSE 2.0 TD4 Auto, for 3 or 4 months. Whilst I am really very pleased with it, I have found it to consume quite a lot in the way of fuel. A full tank only gives me about 350-390miles at best. Whilst I am no expert

My 1979 series 3 has no fog lamp and looks like it never has had one fitted. Does anyone know if this is legal or is it a requirement for the MOT to have fog lamps fitted? Cheers
