I have a simple case of a leak on my air conditioning system on my
1998 Disco 1 Tdi Diesel Auto.
The leak is from a corroded pipe that comes from the left hand side of

I'm looking for a 5 bearing 2.25 petrol engine for a project series 3
There's one going on ebay (item 150133868221) that's looks similar
other than a set of pipes running along the length of the rocker cover
that isn't on any other Series petrol engines.

RRC (M plate) 3.9 Vogue Auto.
Reverse gear won't engage. Just feels like the car's in neutral - revs but
no movement at all.
Any suggestions ... that aren't expensive !!! :-/

1  Is it really necessary to buy a twin battery tray or can I simply use the
existing fittings to hold the new batteries down

The clutch in my 90 is starting to worry me...
The pedal has about an inch of play on it before you can feel anything,
which is normal.

Got the bad news from the garage re: my RR Classic's MOT (failed
DRAMATICALLY!!!) on Monday so picked up another one via eBay on Wednesday,
with the intention of scavengeing what I can off the old one ... Now that
I've had time to think about it, I'm feeling very sentimental ...

Having taken off the vacuum pump, I tried to push in the plunger and
it would not budge, anybody any idea how hard you have to push to get
it to move?

What would be failing to make a Disco II TD5 produce a low frequency
"moo"?
Happens when I lift off the go pedal just a little and also when just

What causes sawtooth wear on the rear tire of disco 1. I have new shocks.The
tire guy said the front toe was out a tenth on same side. Is that a big

My 110 failed MOT today because of a loose wheel bearing, a job,  I've done
several times.  Unfortunately this time the halfshaft came out as I pulled
off the drive flange.  I put it back in, but is seems to have missed at the
other end and won't move either way.  Could this be ...
