question 1 - what thread is an RRC oil pressure warning light switch?
question 2 - Can i put one in the hole where the oil feed for the
compressor in my ambi came off the oil pump housing?

Ive always wanted a disco, and finally bought one about 6 months ago, a 98
V8 on dual fuel.
I thought I'd "freshen" her up a bit and bought the following new parts off

Just been and sorted a new toy.
RR TD6 Vogue 2003 in Zambesi Silver , It's Auto and goes like a rude word.
I'm like buzzing now! Should pick it up around the end of the month pending

Okay, got a good idea of all the bits that I now need if I am going to
fit EFi to burrt.
I guess I'm going to have to fit a new fuel pump, as the EFi system
requires the fuel to be delivered at 34-37 psi.  Burrt currently has a

i have an S reg focus ghia, it keeps over revving especially when cold,
mosly when stationary ie at traffic lights, turning or sometimes braking in
low gear. out of gear and feet off all pedals it can race up to 3000 then
back down again!!!

some while ago it occurred to me that it should be possible to use the cold
in the LPG vapouriser to get "free" aircon effect on the rare occasions that
it's actually hot enough to need it.
Now, as I see it, if I circulate the water around the vehicle heater and the

My mate is just replacing his R380 box in a 300Tdi disco ('94).  He's
trying to figure out what oil to put in, but gets different replies from
different people.  He's pretty sure the last box let go because of the
wrong oil being put in for most of its life, so wants to get this ...

beware of big bits of metal.  
a bit ago I was attempting to get a transit propshaft apart, the kind with a
middle joint.  one end held in the vice, the other end propped on a handy
surface.  The middle flange has a bolt in the centre, holding it onto one

So, my Disco is coming to the end of its warranty period. The LR
warranty included MOT failure cover but, of course, it had a fresh shiny
MOT when purchased.
I am told it is possible to have an MOT done in advance of the old one

I hate to admit it, but I have thrown the towel in.
Disco 1 rear brake calipers need new pistons and seals but trying to get
the outer seal retaining rings in has totally defeated me.
Is there a special tool / knack to doing this, as I managed to bend

that it will run using mapping software if you have such stuff.  Let
