Looking for tyres - has anyone fitted Maxxis tyres to their Discovery?15 Aug 2007 17:46 GMT1
I need 4 new tyres and have been quoted £50 each for Maxxis and £77
for Goodyears. Any reason why I shouldn't save myself over £100 and go
for the Maxxis?
Cheers

Leaking Sump14 Aug 2007 09:33 GMT5
Can someone help me out? I have a rebuilt 2.5 NA in my 1986 110
County, it is leaking a lot of oil from the rear of the sump (not the
rear crank seal fortunately) and after changing the gasket I noticed
that the rear two crank bolts appear to have 'indented' the sump

FREELANDER TD4 CLUTCH -- ODD BEHAVIOUR13 Aug 2007 17:22 GMT5
Is anyone intimate enough with the Freelander Clutch Mechanism to be
able to answer this?  Note that we are talking about the TD4 with the
separate components, and not the all-in-one hydraulics of the petrol
and early diesel.  Note, too, that you'll need to read ALL the
part nos. for series III towing plate bolts.13 Aug 2007 09:39 GMT4
I've tried in all the usual places, but I can't find the part numbers for
the standard bolts & nuts that connect the towing plate to the chassis..
They are a little worse for wear and as I have the fuel tank off ( rear tank
on 6 cyl 109" ) I may as well replace them while I have ...
MOT testers to the bridge, please13 Aug 2007 09:26 GMT2
If I install ex-minibus M2 spec seats with integral belts in the back of the
110, making suitable floor mounts to seat-belt standard as required, will it
need a seat belt installation check?
Putting genuine LR-style seats in costs way too much, and in any case, there

I own a 1996 Range Rover P38 Diesel. Yesterday the I managed to flatten the
battery by leaving the lights on so I disconnected the battery and charged
the battery overnight. When I reconnected the battery today the alarm
bleeped once and now both my keys will not work.  I have ...
